"Stark!"

I growled to myself and put my pillow over my head.

It was the middle of the night and someone was pounding on my door.

"Stark, open this door right now!"

I groaned.

I knew that voice.

"Go away, Grimmjow."

"Open this damn door!"

"It's the middle of the night."

"I don't give a shit! Open this door before I open it myself!"

My eye opened slightly.

"You wouldn't dare." I muttered mockingly.

"Try me!" He snarled back.

"Fine." I sighed and got up.

I opened the door and blinked.

Grimmjow looked the same as he always did.

Except that his usually wiry slightly long blue hair was slicked flat against his scalp.

I blinked again to make sure that i wasn't hallucinating.

"Grimmjow."

"What?"

"Two questions."

"Hurry up."

"Why is your hair all..."

"I lost a bet."

"What was the bet?"

"Doesn't matter."

"That's the only thing you had to do for losing the bet? Slick your hair back?"

"Second question!"

I could tell he was losing his patience so I dropped that conversation.

"Why are you here? In the middle of the night? Disturbing my sleep?"

Grimmjow scowled.

"I said I was only going to answer two questions."

"They're all one question."

"No, that was three questions. I said I was only going to answer two and I already answered one of them."

"Fine. Why are you here?"

He looked away, scowling.

"Well?"

"Because."

"That's not an answer."

"Yes it is."

"You know what, forget about the question. I'm tired so I'm back to sleep."

"Stark."

"What?"

I turned around to look at the lower ranked Espada and suddenly found his lips on mine.

It lasted for a second.

Before I could react, he had pulled away and was already walking down the hall towards his own room.

"That's what I had to do for losing the bet." He called back before going into his room.

I went to the bathroom and washed my mouth out with soap.

"That was disgusting."

I walked back to my bed and flopped into it, falling asleep instantly.
